Transforming Prayer Retreat, Alabama, 2019
During the weekend of July 13 and 14, 2019 Odyssey in Christ conducted a Transforming Prayer Retreat in Attalla, Alabama at New Outlook Christian Fellowship. The facilitators were Larry Hinkle, Gracie Johnson, and Tom Fallon.
One of the characteristics of Jesus throughout Scripture is His desire to bring healing. As we approach God—Father, Son, and Spirit in prayer we encounter God who desires to restore the body, soul, and spirit. Those who experienced this event experienced prayer in these realities.
In addition to presentations with instruction on transforming prayer, the retreat divided up into small groups and put these teachings into practice. One might say that this retreat was a participation in the healing ministry of Jesus. Those in attendance learned of God’s presence in our prayers. When we pray Jesus is always there and ready and willing to bring healing and wholeness.
