IGSL Core Leadership Hosts an OIC Retreat
On September 15 to 16, 2019, a condensed version of the Spiritual Discernment for Group Decision-Making retreat was held for the core leadership and faculty of International Graduate School of Leadership (IGSL) by Dr. Larry Hinkle, founder-director of Odyssey in Christ (OIC) ministry, U.S.A. The retreat was held at Widus Hotel in Clark, Pampanga. Dr. Hinkle was assisted by Dr. Rey Taniajura, Asia representative of OIC.

IGSL retreat participants were led by Dr. Tom Roxas, president and Dr. Ron Watters, executive director. The goal of the retreat was to discern what could be next for IGSL in terms of the school’s impact on society, not just on Philippine society, but also for other neighboring countries of Asia where there already are a good number of IGSL alumni. Another goal was to consider how best to make the current curriculum of studies of IGSL more relevant to the trends taking place globally.

The retreat opened up possibilities for the holding of an Experiencing the Trinity retreat for both faculty and student body of IGSL in 2020. Other similar exciting possibilities have likewise opened up to the ministry in the Philippines for next year.
