This three-day retreat offers participants a time to be refreshed, rejuvenated, and spiritually renewed by means of a focused encounter with our triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Spiritual formation practices serve as pathways for coming to know God more intimately and to experience his presence in deeper ways. Participants have the opportunity to receive healing and strengthening in their soul that provides inspiration for ongoing service in the ministry of Jesus Christ.
The time-frame for the retreat is a full 70 hours, normally beginning on a Thursday evening at 5:30 pm for dinner with fellow participants, spiritual directors and staff, and ending on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Since this activity is a very focused time of intentionally seeking the presence of the Lord in community, participants must be present and remain on campus for the entire period of time.
Formal registration is required and online pre-retreat reading materials are available in order to help prepare for this unique and spiritually formative experience. The retreat is also offered for academic credit through Grace Communion Seminary (www.gcs.edu).
